My name is Eric Milne and I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to my new dry stone walling company; Eric Milne Dry Stone Walling.

We are a family run business and our aim is to give the highest level of quality workmanship and customer service for the most competitive price possible. Our mission is to maintain the highest respect for this ancient craft and to provide our walling services to the high standards and good working practice of the DSWA (Dry Stone Walling Association).

I am a professional member of the DSWA and hold the DSWA Intermediate/Lantra Level 2 Certificate and the DSWA Instructors Certificate.

I work mainly on my own, with family members carrying out administration duties and initial contact meetings, however when required I will select good quality dry stone wallers to assist on larger projects. With over twenty five years in the construction industry as a qualified brick layer, my dry stone walling and wet stone walling skills were mainly self taught with periods of time working with qualified and experienced Waller’s who generously passed on their wealth of experience.

Health and Safety is one of my top priorities at all times when carrying out any project. Whether it is a garden decorative feature or a farm stock dyke, the immediate dangers are always present to the dry stone wallers throughout the working day, however, although measures will be taken to secure the working area, it is still possible for the same risks to be a danger to members of the public until the project has been completed and therefore I have Public Liability Insurance Cover up to Five Million Pounds.
